Vali "Walks like a Don" on Sopranos

This Sunday, 4 Seasons lead vocalist Frankie Vali begins a stint as a Mafia don released from prison in the "Class of 2004." (See today's USA TODAY for details--may be online, but I couldn't locate it).

He talks about growing up in Jersey and being around mob guys--even worked a club owned by a guy named "Pussy"!

As many Seasons' fans probably know, the genesis of the 4 Seasons stems from an introduction of key members of two Jersey bands by none other than noted "wise-guy" Joe Pecsi. (sp?).

I think it said Vali has shot 4 episodes so far; always have to be concerned w/how long he can last given the body count on Sopranos!

I heard this on the radio this morning. They also said that David Lee Roth will appear in a cameo playing cards for this Sunday's episode. Don't know if he has any lines though.

Should be a hoot, but I think he's a 'captain' and not a 'don,' two different things. Either way, should be fun to watch the man act....would seem a natural for the role, and the show is beginning to move into 1st gear after a slow start....
