GEEZ!
I wonder what he'd buy mine for??? I am so glad that we sometimes list our own sources or sightings where us mortals can buy em'!!!
Keep scouring those stores that have been there for5 or 6 years- ya never know what is in their stocks(Pet Sounds, Endless Summer, Original Masters, Band On the Run bought @ regular price- all last ones - sitting on shelves)
If I see duplicates- I will let others here know!
Gee Brent did the child support payments double or what?
I don't think he believes that some moron will actually pay that as you'll notice the opening bid is in the mortal realm.
This is the first time I've seen him use a reserve though. Why don't these sellers just put the opening bid at what they want instead of playing hide n' seek! Geeze!

I'm sure my friend Brent doesn't need me to jump to his defense but I will say that:
1) This is all the guy does. This is not a hobby to supplement a "straight job".
This is how he pays the bills.
2) I think we can agree that he is one of the most reputable sellers on eBay.
3) If he can pull that price then more power to him and if he can't then maybe we will get a crack at a later date for a better number
and finally:
4) How the heck to I get one of those cool avatars??
Peace,
Norm
Avatars I haevn't a clue. I've bought stuff from Brent in the past and I've never had a problem. My guess is he's checking out just what the market will take. Elvis still has a lot of fans. I wouldn't pay $200, but if this were the last one I needed for a complete DCC set I might be willing to go $100 or so.

More importantly, why is this guy selling a JPN Scorpions "Virgin Killer" CD with a nude 12 year old on the cover? Poor taste, to say the least.
I would say the cover of the CD is beyond the control of the retailer.

What does this say about all of our "Blind Faith" records?
For some reason when I clicked on the auction link I didn’t see the my ebay and sign in links on the top of the page the last time I noticed them they were blue at the top of every page. Has anyone else noticed this?
FWIW - I like and have bought from Brent in the past as well...his customer service is second to none and I don't think he keeps a tally on how much you're buying and are you worthy of a conversation etc etc...
However!
That's one expensive CEE-DEE doncha think?
It is his right to ask for what he wants, though....
Wowza!
I've done business with Brent as well and he's great at what he does, no complaints. But seriously $200.00!! Give me a break! His reserve is probably set at $50.00 anyone feelin' rich?
Andy,
I have been having the same problem with ebay- no "my ebay" at the top anymore. You have to go to the bottom of the page. What a pain.

I have dealt with Brent and have been treated terrific. However...I asked him on the phone a week ago about this specific DCC title. He told me that he had none available. He had over 100 about three years ago and returned them all to DCC. He said he would hold me one if he gets another in. Then I look on the link and I feel like the wind got knocked out of me.
Ouch. CPR please...

I just looked at this auction for the first time, and the opening bid is twenty dollars ($20) with a reserve price. What did I miss?
It had the Buy it Now option and that price was $200. I just looked again and I guess he must have revised the auction.
I wonder if Brent might be a forum member? Hmmm...

Actually, Brent's not a forum member (yet) but a little bird has been tipping him to some of the comments on this thread so he killed his reserve.
Peace,
Norm
