I saw a bootleg dvd of S and G that had a 1969 TV special on it. I think Charles Grodin interviewed them. It said it was produced by Grodin and S and G. It featured concert and rehearsal footage. Does anybody know if this is worth a purchase?
Thanks

That would be the (in)famous "Songs of America" special that Bell Telephone pulled sponsorship from due to political content.
It's well worth seeing, both on its own terms and as an artifact of its era.

How is the concert footage? Are the songs complete? I am considering getting it, but I mainly want it for the music, although I am interested in the political views as well. I know the audio/video quality wont be very good though. Who owns the rights to this? I will probably see if I can check the quality of the audio/video and if it is decent, I think I will get it. It also features two songs they did on Letterman last year, which I thought were pretty good.
