My buddy at work is looking for some kind of an AC/DC "greatest hits" collection (original studio versions -- not live/alternate takes/tributes). We're both fairly sure there's no such disc(s) in their U.S. catalog.

Anybody know of any AC/DC import compilations that might exist? (Disc name, label, cat. # and a track list if possible.) Thanks in advance.

For starters, don't get the 1995 European issue of Who Made Who (EMI 0777 7 46299 2 8). I don't know if it's only my copy, but it's missing the downbeat of the title track.

Warner Music UK released a 17 track promotional hits cd, "Ballbreakers"(1995).

Track listing
1.High Voltage
2.Dirty Deeds
3.Let There Be Rock
4.Sin City
5. Whole Lotta Rosie (Live)
6.Highway to Hell
7. Touch Too Much
8. Back in Black
9. Hell's Bells
10. You Shook Me All Night Long
11. For Those About To Rock
12. Let's Get it Up
13. Who Made Who
14. Heatseeker
15. Thunderstruck

Band members were quoted several years ago in either "Q" or "Mojo"as being opposed to the release of a greatest hits disc.

First thing I did when I got a CDR drive in 1997 was to make 2 CDs to seperate the Bon Scott years to the Brian Johnson years. Think about it; you can easilly fill 2 CDs. Great stuff.

Do it yourself?

Nope, not to my knowledge!

You might check www.aurealm.com to be certain, though.

Thanks, Grant! :D

(Incidentally, that still is from the Nightmare At 20,000 Feet episode -- you probably knew that, right?)
