View Full Version : DCC Japanese CD?
Did the DCC CDs pressed in Japan have any markings that signified the Japanese origin? Was “Made in Japan” printed directly on the disc? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

A couple of my Doors discs say "Disc manufactured in Japan" in the booklets, but nothing to that effect on the discs themselves, I don't believe.

My Highway 61 says "Made in Japan" right under "24kt Gold-Plated" on the disc.
Andy,
My The Doors-Waiting For The Sun says "Made In Japan" on the disc (center bottom, right below "Produced by Paul A. Rothchild") whereas, my The Doors-The Doors (24kt disc) is a Nimbus(shown on center ring, not from Japan).
I just re-read your post again and noticed you didn't state "GOLD DISCS" specifically, so I'll add the following: All of my "original" Vintage Music series #1-10 CDs say: manufactured in Japan on the disc! Got ALL the original "long boxes" too!

Once our Gold discs were not being manufactured in Japan any more, we removed the "Made In Japan" wording from our printed material.
Some overlapping probably occured though.
Thanks All!:D
I just wanted to find out if the gold discs made in Japan stated that on the disc some where.
