Doris Day two-fer on Collectables

Any Doris Day fans out there?

I just purchased the Day by Day/Day by Night two-fer cd from Amazon.com, and while the sound is generally okay, on tracks 16 & 17 (Dream a Little Dream, Under a Blanket of Blue) there is noticeable distortion of some sort.

Does anyone know if this is a tape problem or a defect in the cd production process? I'm wondering whether I should attempt to get a replacement.

Collectables's sound quality is hit or miss. They use special markets divisions for mastering and most often they use the LP production masters.
