Did anyone receive their Gilligan's Island DVD Box Set Pre Order? Any B&M stores have it out yet?

It was supposed to hit the store shelves today. Best Buy Sunday flyer advertised it for 29.98 (3 DVD Set) and includes the original pilot with A different Ginger and Professor. The show was completley revamped after the pilot with a different Ginger & Professor. There are also some extra stuff from what I read. The first season was B&W.

I am going to take a trip to my local BB after some dinner and see if they have it.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was on seeing this thread's title...and realizing it said "delayed", rather than "cancelled".

I got mine at Target for $29.99. I'm having a BLAST watching these shows, looking better than ever. too! These took me back to when I was a kid watching these on TV! Just dumb fun!

I can't wait for the next season!

When does the Brady Bunch series start coming out on DVD? :)

They not only had a different Ginger and Professor, but a different Mary-Ann as well, and all three were terrible! It's a good thing Sherwood Schwartz got rid of them and changet their characters.

For anyone who hasn't seen the DVDs yet, I won't say anymore about it. I don't want to spoil the party!

For those who think the show was TOTALLY stupid, a lot of what the professor said in the show was based in science and fact.

Professor: "we're gonna have alot of trouble spotting the rescue plane with all that nimbocumulus in the sky."

Gilligan: "yeah all those clouds are gonna be in the way too." :laugh:
