What are the most important Heavy Metal (incl. Hard Rock) records in the music history?

I would like to compare your postings with my list... maybe I can add some titles!

Thx... Claus

The Stooges "Fun House" for sure. The Rhino Handmade box is incredible. If you haven't tried the Stooges first 2 LPs you're missing something! The first 3 Hendrix LPs and Band of Gypsys also.

good selections folks... but I'm surprised nobody have mentioned Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Both groups are one of the most important Heavy Metal groups in the 80's
