View Full Version : Zeppelin "In through the outdoor" on Classic??
Does anyone know if Classic is going to finish the Zeppelin catalog with "In through the Outdoor?" Have not heard a thing. Would love for this lp to be given the Classic treatment. Also, what about more Genesis releases, specifically "Seconds Out." That would be great on audiophile vinyl.

I'm sure their working on replicating the original packaging. Hopefully they put the same TLC into the mastering!

How would they ever decide which cover to release? They surely wouldn't do them all (?).
One thing that was very cool about the original In Through The Out Door cover was that if you applied a small amount of water, many of the objects had secret shades of color that would appear.
Definitely would be nice if they are working on this classic lp and the same original cover with all the trimmings.

Flip a coin?
Spin the Wheel of Zeppelin?
I dunno. Got any ideas? I do know this - they wouldn't listen to our opinions anyway. Ever check out the message board on their site? Eerily quiet.
If they were smart, they would release the record just like it was originally released---all five or six covers covered with the brown wrapper. YOU KNOW that there are some people who would continue to collect ALL OF THEM. What a selling point!
Can someone describe the different covers. I was unaware of the different editions.
KLM,
There were about 8 (not sure of exact #!) different angles of the same bar scene used for these covers, each giving a new perspective to the various things going on at the time...really quite interesting!

They are all reproduced in the 10CD box set "The Complete Studio Recordings"

Same sound as all the Zeppelin remasters. The CDs are packaged in mini-book like covers 2 albums to each book. I think it's a great package.
