Police: A decent sounding best of CD?

Hello all,

I'm after a decent sounding Police Best of CD (other than the Message in A Box set). My current one sounds lifeless and muddy (purchased in 1989).

I've seen one or two around, but would appreciate any guidance...I've heard/read that the sound can be a bit bright on the latest remasters.

Muddy and lifeless, or hard and mean. As far as I know, those are your only choices.

I think there's only four choices: the Singles one you have, the "Greatest Hits" import, the Classics, and the Very Best of Sting & the Police. I'd go with the Classics, which has the same sound as the box. It's not going to knock your socks off, but in terms of track selection, price, and sound, it's probably your best bet.
