Now that we can revisit all the old Monkees episodes on DVD, have you guys spotted the Seinfeld star in one of the all time great episodes?

In 'Monkees In A Ghost Town' starring with Rose Marie and Lon Chaney Jr. is none other than veteran character actor Len Lesser who in 'Seinfeld' plays Jerry's Uncle Leo!

In this episode he plays a gangster named 'George' the partner of 'Lenny.' They lock the Monkees up in an old jail cell while waiting for 'The Big Man' played by Rose Marie of 'The Dick Van Dyke Show.'

This was always one of my favorite episodes which also prominently features 'Papa Gene's Blues,' one of my very favorite Monkees songs.

George and Lenny, eh? A familiar-sounding duo! "Tell me about the rabbits, George...";)
