I have a couple of the Classic Records issued cds and generally think the sound is good. I was thinking about picking up some Rollins cds to add to my collection and was wondering has anyone heard the Classic Records cd of Bridge? I have a BMG remaster (20 bit SBM) from the mid nineties that seems pretty good and didn't know if the Classic reissue is any better.

Any suggestions? Is it worth the $25 or so.

I have not heard the Classic Records cd of Bridge. A few months ago I purchased a 24-bit remastered French Import of "The Bridge" and the follow up "What's New?" on BMG France. I can not recommend these cd's enough. They are among the most naturaly sounding analog cd's in my collection. This version of the Bridge is MUCH better than the previous 20-bit you mentioned. I picked them up for $11.99 at J&R here in New York. I think you can find them on line.

You should also try the Paul Desmond/Jim Hall CD's in this series from France. Ellington too!
