Do the Wolfman Jack "Let's Cruise" discs have any airchecks like "Howling On The Air". I think I might have asked this before....old timers is setting in again.

I know!
No. They have little catch phrases from some of Wolfman Jack's radio carts, but no actual air checks from his shows.

John let me rephrase my question. Is there any WJ chatter before/during/after the songs. I'm not sure if airchecks refer to commercials or what. Thanks for the reply.

Steve,
One of the few (ONLY?) times you will likely hear a NEGATIVE comment about your product (did you master both of these 2 CDs for Big Ear?) from me.
Let's Cruise has the "highest Highs" and "lowest Lows" of sound quality!!!
Chris Montez- Let's Dance is absolutley fab!!!
Joe Henderson- Snap Your Fingers has snap allright...as in "old worn out 45!"
There are also way too many "howls" in the middle of the songs that are not too great IMHO!

Pat,
Those two discs were made from the Wolfman's personal radio "carts" of those songs, all from records no less.
I managed to slip my master mix of "Let's Dance" and a few more neat ones in there when no one was looking.
Sigh. It's never easy.
Thanks Steve,
I knew there was a good reason for this!
P.S. Though it is definitely NOT the season to be jolly...having recently listened to "Merry from Lena" - Lena Horne, all I can say is "SuPeR" job once again Steve and...what's this...a mention to Kevin Gray?! Yep! ;)
