I 'm sure everybody knows 'Alice's Restaurant' but I wanted to point out that if you apppreciate Acoustic music, Arlo's 1970 record "Washington County" is a gem- anyone else here familiar with it? By the way, his daughter, Sarah-Lee, is a very nice & talented young gal and she has a new CD coming out soon- if interested, check out the site: www.sarahleeguthrie.com

Yeah, "Washington County" is one of Arlo's
best--I have a vinyl copy that I think I got
when it was released. Do you have a CD, and
is it one of the Koch reissues? How would you
rate the sound quality?
Also in this same vein is "Last of the Brooklyn
Cowboys"--some really great acoustic stuff there,
and the list of guest musicians reads like a
who's who of studio greats; Ry Cooder, Clarence
White, Jim Keltner, Lee Sklar, Grady Martin,
etc.

Hobo's Lullabye is great also! The Koch remasters sound fine.
