Every time I think about the Batman movie from 1966 I am reminded of a woman who has a very small part & as far as I know is not listed in the credits. I've always wanted to find out who she was. Maybe someone here can help & it's greatly appreciated. Here's the picture:

Your still suggests a speaking part; did she in fact have one? If so, imdb's 'complete cast' list isn't complete, then. On the other hand, if she was only seen on the phone (but not heard) she might be considered an 'extra,' in which case she would be very tough to track down.

    She was Admiral Fangschliester's secretary.

(Phone rings & woman answers phone):
    woman - Admiral Fangschliester's office
    Batman - Hello... Batman speaking
    woman - Oh hello!
Admiral Fangschliester - Who is it?
    woman - Batman
Admiral Fangschliester - Batman. (He picks up phone & answers)

I thought I found the answer on a Batman message board but turns out it is in dispute. Here is the quote nonetheless:

    It is from this thread:

After some digging I have found the hot assistants name. Her name is Linda Beatty and she was a Playboy playmate of the month in 1976. She also went under the name of Linda Carpenter which is the name she used for the Batman movie. I hope that this has helped you all. Please spread the word as she is a real beauty and it is a travisty to have so little people knowing who she is.

Can't be Linda Beatty(Carpenter). She would have been 14 when Batman was filmed. Face is all wrong as well.

Uncredited friend of somebody in charge, who would otherwise have to get paid for it, perhaps?

Adam West may know if he really talked to her. Burt Ward might know since he was (guessing) in her age group for socializing & dating. Anyone else involved with this movie could know. Maybe there was a rap party & she was included.

Don't think rap was such a big thing back then - maybe they just had a plain ol' wrap party :righton:

  20. This site also indicates that the actress' name was Linda Beatty.

    http://batman.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Batman_(1966_Movie)_Cast

It can't be the Linda Beatty that was a Playmate of the month in 1976 unless her age has been misrepresented or she was a very mature looking 13 year old during the filming. If nobody is certain there was no other actress name Linda Beatty, I am going to assume her name is either Linda Beatty or Linda Beaty or Belinda Beatty or something along those lines and would try to track down actresses with similar names. There could be a reason the research came up with the name but got it slightly wrong or the role was attributed to the wrong Linda Beatty. Whoever it is, I think it is safe to assume she didn't go on to have a great career as an actress. The Exorcist II: The Heretic has an actress named Belinda Beatty, Ned Beatty's wife at the time. If someone owns that great film on DVD and wants to find the character and see if it could be her 11 years later, that could exclude Ned's ex-wife.

I seem to recall back in the 1970's and 80's, a Linda Beatty that was on a number of TV shows , TV spots , and made for TV movies , and that photo looks like her.
But looking on the IMDB, I can't find any info on her.
I think she did a bit part on "Three's Company", maybe an episode taking place in a cooking class with John Ritter ?
Didn't really watch that show then or now, sorry.
But if someone has the DVD's of it, and that rings a bell (or knocks on the door), perhaps they could check for that episode.
