Has anybody listened to Rough Mix reissued by Classic Records on QUIEX SV? How does it sound?
Jeff mentioned that the Last sticker was mistakenly reproduced on the back cover. Has it been fixed? I don't want it to remind me its origin. ;)

Wasn't the original LP supposed to be really good already?

Yes, Patrick ... I have an original UK and it sounds excellent to me. Natural, realistic, well balanced.
But I too would be curious to hear impressions from anyone who's listened to the Classic ...

An unmitigated disaster. Thin and hard, very unmusical, my cheap domestic MCA copy kills it.
Forget it.

Agreed with Mr. Tom. Not a very good attempt at all. My ATCO reissue whoops it's butt.

Atco, right! I stand corrected.
Mine's SLM: Sheffield Lab Mastering. Find one of those for two bucks and be glad you're an analog guy.

He had to start his own label to find someone that would record him, himself!
