Is Journey's Dream After Dream worth getting?

Does it sound anything like the previous CD's? And why wasn't it released in the US?

I asked the same question to my best friend who is a major Journey fanatic. He described it as follows: There are very few traditional "songs" on the album and it is mostly instrumental film score type passages. As a result, it tends to fall into the completist category rather than a must have. I believe that lack of commercial possibility has kept it from getting a US release.
