Cleaning a projection TV?

Well, technically the TV has speakers (though I've only heard them once or twice), which makes it an Audio Hardware question, but it may belong in Visual Arts?

Anyway, I have a 43" projection TV that a couple of years old... I also have two big slobbery Great Danes that tend to much up the screen, even from a few feet away, simply by shaking their heads.

What's the best way to clean the plastic surface without scratching it?

We tell our customers to use a very soft terry cloth dampened with warm water and just wipe the screen. If that doesn't cut it use a very mild liquid handsoap (just a couple drops) on the same cloth.

They also do sell cleaning kits (monster Cable has o their own) but they cost about $20. The last time I checked most people had at least a couple soft and fuzzy cloths laying around and warm water is near free. :)
