I know this topic has been discussed, but preventing Congress from messing with our music is important.

It better. The crushing blow would be that the consumer could possibly the only person who would be his own record label via the Internet. The harder you make it on the consumer, they'll go find other ways to make him/her happy. Labels have already made the consumer feel abandoned enough.
