audio reciever with variable speaker positions, one exist?

im looking for an audio receiver that doesnt have a fixed configuration of speaker placement but rather a placement that can vary by just changing a setting
the scenario is that there are really 2 positions in which i listen to audio
one being sitting at my desk, another being on my bed
speakers from my desk that should be front should not be fronts for when im on my bed

so are there any recievers that allow me to change which speakers are front, rear, etc etc without manually switching cables?

Personally, I haven't seen any new receivers with the feature you're searching for (although I wouldn't be surprised if Denon or Harman Kardon offered it in their top-of-the-line units), however, this was a common feature offered on many old quad receivers from the '70's. Perhaps some of the other members have more info.
