Have you ever experienced what sounded like the turntable's motor slowing down slightly leaving the LP's sounding slightly lower pitched or even a bit off key? I have a Music Hall MMF-7 that I've had for awhile and the LP's are starting to sound as if they have litterally slowed down. The only thing I can think of causing it is the turntable's motor.

Make sure. Use a strobe disc.

If it's a belt drive, your belt could also be slipping. This happens due to either a "glossing" of the belt's surface, or the belt relaxing (stretching) with age.

I do not know if this will work on the MMF, but VPI recommends using talc powder on the belts to keep the belt grip strong. I find I have to do it about every three months on my VPI so the belts do not slip. Check your belts before you assume it is the motor.

Could very well be the motor. My motor on my MMF-5 is dying right now.
The table is only 2 years old, and averages only 20hrs of play a month!
After about 40 mins of running, or 1 lp, the motor gets loud. Called Music Hall about it, was told the motors will die this way sometimes. New motor will cost $20-$30 when they get them back in stock in a month or so.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a Rega eventually.
