They used to make gorgeous LP and CD reissues long before the "on vinyl again" hype started. I've got several Duke Ellington and Antonio Carlos Jobim albums (reissues from the 1960s Warner Bros./Reprise vault). But the best of them all is an LP called "September Afternoon" (Donald Byrd /w Clare Fisher and strings), a then unreleased studio album from 1957. It's in stereo, and the sound as well as the music is phenomenal. Have Discovery/Trend dissolved into Rhino?
