Finding Nemo sells 8 million copies in one day!

I've got to see what all the hype is about! I missed Finding Nemo in theaters, maybe I'll give it a rental this weekend.

According to this story (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20031105/ap_on_en_mo/film_finding_nemo) finding nemo has sold a staggering 8 million copies on the first day!

My wife and I saw it at a theater. We were the only couple there that didn't have a child with them. My wife was a little freaked out about that.

I liked it enough to buy it, but I didn't get it yet.

I found it rather underwhelming and disturbing in parts, though Ellen DeGeneres stole the movie, I think.

My favorite Pixar movie is still A Bug's Life...

I picked it up this week without having seen it at the theaters. Not too bad. Some characters (including the sharks) where really great.

For some reason, I feel a bit let down by this one and Monsters Inc. story-wise. I know they have to keep it simple for the kiddos, but by comparision, Toy Story 1&2 seemed to have a more complete storyline that better followed a traditional movie script. Those Toy Story's just keep me laughing even though I musta seen them 100 times each. ;)
