Ah yes! March 1976! I was in the eighth grade, just two months before graduating to high school. I know not many people think fonldy of the mid-70s but this was really a fruitful time in music. The list contains my favorites.
I have even compiled a series of CD-Rs of my favorite songs from that year. There eight volumes, using the actual hit versions in most cases, and album versions where radio played them.

Those were the days when you could listen to the radio and have every song sound different, not like the cookie-cutter programming you get now. But, while there were stations that played only Adult Contemporary or AOR, soul, or disco later on, you could still hear a bit of everything on most top 40 stations. Even the researched, pre-programmed ones had more variety than they do now.
If you didn't want to buy a whole album you could still buy the 45, and chances are, the flipside would be a cool, non-LP track.

5. Take It To The Limit.........................Eagles My favorite Eagles song, co-written and sung by my favorite (former) Eagle - Randy Meisner, who co-founded the group as the best known member but departed as a lesser known. Because of that and Randy's low profile, a con artist was able to impose as him to defraud victims for money, sex and free guitars!
