Is Ed O'neill OK?

I just saw an episode from the new season of DRAGNET LA, or whatever they're calling it this year. I noticed that Ed O'neill had a much less prominent role in the show, with almost none of the narration that Joe Friday was always noted for, and that he has obviously lost a bunch of weight. so I wondered if he has been ill or something like that.

Maybe you caught a rerun of "Married With Children"?...Then watched a current episode of Dragnet.. ED's just aging:) We get so used to the younger days of an actor and forget they do age:laugh:
