Is anyone aware of an audiophile recording of the Elvis Presley song "Burning Love". I just received the DCC EP 24 Karat album and really like it, and the only song missing I would like is Burning Love.

Thanks
Scott

The killer version is (would have been) on the DCC Elvis "24 Karat Hits, Volume II".

Man, it smokes. Ah well..:(

Steve,

What would have been on 24 Karat Hits Vol. II? It may never be released, but I just HAVE to know!

...Steve's tube mastering....

....working with original Sun master tapes...

...BMG killing the project...

To qoute my good friend Daffy Duck:

"Shoot me now!! Shoot me now!!"

"Would you like to shoot him now or wait 'til you get home?":D

Man, that just totally sucks. Maybe some benevolent, higher up at BMG will step in one day and make things right.

All,

As long as Vol II does not contain "Rock-A-Hula" we will all be very pleased with the results. I hope Vol II comes to pass! Vol I is an absolute essential CD to own!

Maybe Steve shouldn't list his track selection. There are a lot of other labels out there who might consider "borrowing" it without doing any of the work & research. Isn't that what happened to MFSL with Columbia (half-speed master list)? Hopefully, oneday Steve's version will be released.
