Cracker- "1" just came out on dvd. I have heard and read good things about the BBC show and I really like Coltrane. Anyone have person opinions on this series? Thanks so much..

Great series. There was an American remake but Coltrane original is much better. It's coarse and Cracker is a bastard (with a heart underneath it all) but it's also smart with a calibre of writing you rarely see on our side of the Atlantic.

Did you see From Hell with Johnny Depp, Heather Graham and Robbie Coltrane? Basically, the same character. Good (although I would not go so far as to suggest great) stuff. Jeff

Cracker was on TV here in New Zealand a couple of years back. It is a great TV show.
