Read a post not long ago that the "Audiophile" SRV's weren't that good.

Humorem metioned that that they weren't bought from him.....does that mean there are or aren't better versions out there?

You show me a better copy of The Sky Is Cryin' than the MFSL gold cd and I'll buy it as IMHO this one shines brightly.;)

I totally agree with Dave on this one ! The Sky Is Crying MOFI absolutely smokes ! I didn't think it could be improved upon, but once I heard the difference between the two was I ever wrong. Get the MOFI ! It kicks the hell out of the standard release. Definitely in my MOFI top 5 !

The two SRV SACDs are the best Stevie has ever sounded on record bar none.

You can hear everything down to the amp buzz and the floor in the studio creak.

These are the definitive versions of those albums without question. if you haven't heard them....what the hell are you waiting for?
