This is an all mono Fisher unit from 1955:

Neat eh? For not much money, it's yours. The catch is--It's REALLY HEAVY. So, come over and pick it up! Or have it trucked. I want it to go to a good home. I have no ROOM for my mono baby anymore!
Here is a rundown:
EARLY 1950's VINTAGE TUBE FISHER FOUR PIECE SYSTEM IN CABINET
In an Acousti-Craft wood cabinet, are the following vintage Fisher vacuum tube components:
Mint Fisher 90-R Anniversary Series Am and FM Tuner
Magnificent Fisher 80-C Master Audio Control preamplifier
Fisher Model 60 (I think) 30 watt amplifier
Garrard RC 88/4 four speed turntable
All the Fisher components are in perfect working order and look dead mint! They also sound wonderful; that smooth, rich Fisher tube sound! The Garrard turntable is electrically functioning, but the platter doesn't go around. A mechanical problem, easy to fix. The wood cabinet has had one too many flower pots on the top and needs refinishing.
The Fisher 80-C was the top of the line preamp back in 1955 (when I believe this system was put together). It has AMAZING AND USEFUL lever-type Phono equalization for 78, LP AND radio transcription characteristics, including RCA Orthoacoustic. Seven inputs, including two Phono, Mic and Tape. COMPLETE MIXING AND FADING ON TWO< THREE< FOUR OR FIVE CHANNELS!!! Bass and treble tone controls of the variable-crossover feedback type, and so on. PERFECT FOR 78 RPM RESTORATION PROJECTS!
All in all, a little slice of the state of the art audio world, circa 1955-56. Beautiful! Weight: 89 lbs or so....
Give my baby a good home. Makes a great living room conversation piece, but hook just one speaker up to it, put a DCC Miles Davis Gold CD on, crank it, and watch out! Tube bliss!
