Hi steve (or anyone else who knows to answer),
I Installed a Clock update in my CD-player, It took quite some time (weeks) before I got it going. I had some problems finding the right power supply. Because It took so long I actually cannot tell if it has made any improvements. There are several websites who claim that such a clock upgrade is a huge improvement. It is something I cannot confirm.
How are the clocks designed for the mastering gear? A normal CD player (even good ones) have clocks that cost about 1$ or so in components. An upgrade clock consts about 150$, are the ones form the mastering gear also that high standard, or don't the manufacturers worry about it?
