I didn't go to the lengths some of you guys did, I just grabbed any old disc disc that was layin' around and threw it on the scanner...

Alright, now you've done it!

I hope all you folks realize that every week or so for the next couple months someone's going to come on here and say, "Hey Steve, I didn't know DCC did a Gold CD of Abbey Road. Where can I get a copy?"

Claviusb,

After seeing your "fictional" CD I'm drooling just thinking about what could be...maybe if we all concentrate really hard that CD will become real.

"When you wish upon an Starr..."

I hope you guys can forgive me for making you salivate like mad dogs. I shouldn't have teased you that way.

Maybe showing you this will make up for everything...

You're merciless! I can "hear" those discs (among other things) in my head.

I want to get up and hump the monitor.

Hey, would it trouble anyone to maybe design a PS avitar for me? I'm NOT as good at PS as most of you are. If you can't, it's cool... That way, you can take allll the credit??? ;)

The gold looks right because... it's really a gold disc! I put the disc in the jewel case data side out and scanned it. Then I scanned the Capitol disc and "extracted" the art. A little seasoning and... BAM!

And thanks for all the nice compliments, guys!

No. But the thought of you humping the monitor may trouble some!;)

I'm sure you're all glad I would never think of posting anything like this...

Well, I was updating all the images to be sort of "scam-proof" and this one got eaten. I'll repost the new version though...

Hey Doug, I can tell by that clip out of the lower left side the Gord disc is already a cut-out! Ya pick that one up at MFAS?

Are you guys crazy? Now some boob will post these all over the net and idiots everywhere will begin searching for them. Then, some unscupulous weazel will put them up on ebay and cause untold misery. On second thought, maybe this is more fun then I first thought. In a sick kinda way.

I think this is all hillarious, really I do.

Just watch out for people carrying these .jpgs to eBay with a meat-hook price for no-such-product. Not saying people would do that, but would they??

Immitation is the deepest form of flattery... or whatever... :)

Hey Craig,

I always hated that red banner on the Rolling Stones CDs - reminds me of Abkco. But now that I see they are "Lovingly Remastered..." Well, that makes all the difference in the world!

:D
