Is This a Legitimate DCC? Or, is it a Counterfiet?

Hello,

If you have a moment could you take a look at this eBay listing. Did Steve Hoffman really master this? I'm curious because it says Digitally Remastered and I don't see the DCC logo. Thanks.

ANZ-701 is listed in the Discography on this forum (bottom of this page, grey bar, click Discography, then click DCC artists), and the close-up of the CD shows this catalog #.

Interesting that the CD credits say it was Digitally Remastered. I thought Steve Hoffman characterized mastering in the digital realm as the "Devil" (or was it mastering with a Digital Audio Workstation is the "Devil").

Gamma, remember every CD ever made, then and now, is digitally mastered or remastered. There is no other way to make a CD! Once it goes on to the CD master, well, it's digitally mastered. See?

The analog tapes came from Abbey Road on that one. Sure wish more people had bought it...

As great as those Hayward solo albums are, the record I'd like to see
your take on, Steve, is Ray Thomas' "From Mighty Oaks". I bought this thing
at a yard sale years ago and forgot I had it. Married a Moody Blues freak
a year ago and dragged the record out to play for her.
Holy *****, it was incredible!!

I bought a Mitchell record clamp today and now I am going back
and relistening to all my really dynamic lp's without the treble smear.
The Ray Thomas lp will be played tomorrow, probably twice (laughing).
