Steve,

Can you share with us how you were able to get the voices in Endless Summer and Spirit Of America to sound so not harsh at the top end and also make them sound so believeable as before yours I've never heard any of their material sound this good?

Hi Dave,

I'm glad you noticed! My mastering techniques are, well for lack of a better word, secrets. You understand I hope.

Let's just say that I worked long and hard to get that sound. I'm glad that you like it.

Well Steve those have to be some of your best work IMHO.

You should see how many people have to pick their chins up off of my living room floor during their first listen to either of those 2 albums! How does he make it so real? That's unbelieveable!, are just a few of the comments I've heard come from first timers.;)

Don't forget, that same great SH Beach Boys sound is still in print on the Razor & Tie two disc set called "The Beach Boys 40 Greatest Hits"!

If the Beach Boys Razor and Tie compilation CD is still in print, do you know where I might obtain a copy of it? I have searched Razor and Tie's website, CD Now, Amazon, CD Universe, etc., but did not see it listed anywhere. Any assistance from you or any other forum member concerning the whereabouts of this title would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to listening to the CDs as soon as they arrive. I have a feeling that it will sound like I am hearing these classic songs for the first time!!!
