That is a rare set, but you can definately do better. Check out a few EAS's when you can find them, and judge for yourself.

The vinyl is great, but a lot of the cuttings are a tad bright as most Japanese pressings can be. Those pressings are common, the EAS's... I'd say try one, and then judge for yourself as if you WERE gonna buy the $1000 lot.

With $1000 cables and power cords and all of the other stuff I’ve blown a $1000 on 84 LPs seems like a bargain.

The individual records come with all the original inserts,
and there are some very large extra posters included with the red and blue sets, as I recall.

And the rosewood display stand is beautiful, too. I wish they had included a picture!

Considering what the individual EAS records sell for on eBay,
the winner could probably break it up and make a lot more money.
