I purchased the Bonnie Raitt "Nick Of Time" 180g lp today and on ithe inside there is an insert showing other 180g lp's and Elton John's Greatest Hits Vol. II is shown. Was this album ever produced?

From DCC, no. Supposedly, it's in the can and has been waiting to be spung out on an unsuspecting public at large (us). Supposedly CD/LPs were set for release.

DCC is on red light. Hopefully sometime soon, the light might change to green.

Humorem did sell a test pressing. It's probably gone by now.

I have some covers if you want them.

Also the metal work, if you want to press up some vinyl. Got to get Steve's permission first though, and Universal, and Elton. And hire some lawyers. And some vicious dogs.

Hmmm... If you have the covers, maybe you can take an old MCA, put that LP in a rice paper sleeve, place it into the cover, put a heavy plastic bag seal around the cover, assign a number to the LP, say 0002, have Steve autograph it and sell it on eBay for big bux to collectors who never ever open their sealed LPs. "Open and play a sealed record? That's absurd!"

I imagine all those expensive bottles of fine wines are earthy vinegar by now.

I may be in the minority, but I actually open all those DCC LPs I bought over the years and place them on a turntable and put the stylus (oh no!) onto the groove! Even "Court and Spark". What a great pressing!! I even opened Aqualung!

You opened them! That’s what CDs are for.

Do you have the vicious dogs available? I think I could handle those with no problem. Lawyers are a different story.
