Is there a particular way that is best to store NOS tubes that aren't being used? In the freezer? Away from light? In the closet? Underwater??

Prix.... cool, dry place (not your front porch ;) ) and just in their original boxes. I guess. I don't they deteriorate in any way over time if you take care of them!

Keep them away from any damp or moist areas. :)

Get a medium sized, plastic Igloo© cooler with the tight fitting cover. Use some foam or bobble wrap from old eBays you've won to line it. Place tubes in it, tape it shut. Flip the handle over to make sure it won't let the lid go.
Very inexpensive, very tough storage without worry about moisture.

You're not going to believe this, Gary, but they are actually stored in a box ON MY FRONT PORCH!

Don't forget to put Tube Sox on them so they won't be cold.

Good one, David!
Prix, take your friggin' tubes inside and store in a cool, dry place. Like you would store anything of value...

Already done!! The whole reason they were out there is because I had a pile of old junk tube amps out there that needed to be stripped. I had the box of tubes and parts sitting on the porch.
