Two recent (cheap) purchases that work well in my system:

(1) Peter Boffin's Sound Improvement Disc - Yep, another green sheet (composition unknown) to top your CD's. I've tried two other similar types, and they reeked of snake oil. This one really works. Sony Corp. reportedly has sent all their European reps one of these German frisbies.

(2) Densen Beat (Denmark) DeMagic CD system demag. I've tried system demag devices before (Gryphon ), and they do work. This one is much easier to operate than the others (just insert the CD and play) and it's cheap, too, like me. Watch the volume control - normal room volume. My whole system sounds smoother and cleaner.

Steve, have you ever used this or similar devices?

Both available from www.audiophilecandy.co.uk - lots of good stuff at cheaper prices than here in USA.

Peter had a room a couple of doors away from mine at the High End Show in Frankfurt. Just to put the record straight, he's based in Germany but these are British frisbies.
