I think it's really cool also, Ron. What do you think that thing is gonna go for? It really jumped in price in no time.

Wow, that's pretty. I really like that era's furniture style (way before it became trendy like nowadays). Clean lines but with some nice curves and simple geometrical shapes.

I'll bet it sounds great with rock and pop. Because every console system I've heard always seemed to have a big, heavy bass sound--not really accurate but really fun to listen to for an hour or so. Would love to own one of these for casual listening and the pleasure of owning something built so solidly and with such style.

Nice unit! With a reel to reel no less! Big time stuff....

I'm sure this seller has a different motivation for selling...in my case, I just wanted to sell the consoles as-is (wanted them out of the house in other words) and wasn't willing to part things out like he is. I hope someone buys his as-is. Would be a shame to break up the set!

It's such a shame how many fine vintage consoles are being chopped up every day. Their parts are all over eBay like roaches. And I love the added lines in descriptions like "I have other plans for the wood". Yeah great, another half-assed wood shop project. Stupid looking liquor cabinet, anyone?

Economic reality is that these things are worth more parted out than in tact. People don't have room for these things, and most people wouldn't want them if they had the room.
