I need some help finding something. In the seventies there where several LPs released under the National Lampoon name. Most of these star several members of the first SNL team including John Belushi, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner. One of these had a skit in which Mr. Rogers talks to a bass player (Murray) about his job which turns out to be more about moving furniture than bass playing. So here's my question, does anyone remember what album that skit is from? My memory is starting to get very bad. I thought it was Radio Dinner but after ordering it online and receiving it I found I was wrong. I know I can depend on you guys (and girl or two) to help me here. Thanks.

It's the one with the cartoon Frog minus its little legs on the cover. The two people are eating the legs at their table. Remember?

Can't remember the name of it, but at one time I had a picture disc of it. Hard to forget that picture.

I believe it's "That's Not Funny, That's Sick"

Well damn that was quick! That's what I love about this forum. Ask a question, get an answer! Thank you. Now all I have to do is begin my search again. I have seen Radio Dinner and Golden Turkey in my search but not this one (it figures). Call out the hounds, let the hunt begin!

I have a totally mint copy of "That's Not Funny, That's Sick". I'm not willing to give it up, but is it kosher to post a portion of that Lp that he's talking about? Might give us all a laugh. Zoo?

Oh well. Here's some help for ya. Here you can decide of you want to buy the rest of the LP. Content herein is ©1977 National Lampoon Magazine, ASCAP.

Enjoy some tube- mastered comedy. ;)

Thanks Sckott. That routine cracks me up. I'll find a copy. I appreciate the hit.

A tremendous reminder about how funny those National Lampoon albums were. Didn't Radio Dinner have the John Lennon spoof based upon his "primal scream" interview in Rolling Stone? That bit was priceless.

For those of you who might be so technologically inclined, I have heard that the new satellite radio service (I think it's called X-music, or some such thing) has purchased a license to run the old "National Lampoon Radio Hour" episodes from the mid-70s on their Comedy channel. In complete form, no less, as I understand it (well, maybe they cut out the NatLamp magazine commercials, but you know what I mean...)

There's a few of those programs that I'd **love** to upgrade, quality-wise... and some I'd just like to hear again for the first time in 25 years!
