Thanks Gratn! Great article! Nice to see someone carefully testing and reporting numbers, instead of the usual "seems to work for me" word of mouth wisdom about burn speeds.

Y'all might want to bookmark the EMedia magazine Web site (http://www.emedialive.com) itself ... and not just because I used to work there and write for them (still do on occasion on a freelance basis).

It's a fine source for specifically CD-R- and DVD-related news, articles & reviews. Steve Nathans (the editor), Bob Starrett, Hugh Bennett, et al are not only extremely knowledgable about and experienced in the industry, but are very fine and clear, no-nonsense writers too.

I am not being paid for this little blurb ... :)
