can anyone help me, i want to start a vinyl pressing plant and i've been searching for a vinyl presser with little success if you have useful information i can use please!! help me out.references will be appreciated.information on which equipment and machinery i must have will be of added value.cheers!

Tom, just have someone else do the cutting, plating and pressing for you. It's less expensive, and takes less time.

I understand that there currently is not a single vinyl pressing plant anywhere in South Africa, and shipping would get expensive with something like this.

tom2 -- are you needing just a handful of copies for DJ use, or are you looking at pressing up several hundred as commercial copies? If it's only the former, you might be best off getting one of those new devices that uses a blank pseudo-vinyl disc and lets you play mastering engineer, one disc at a time.

As mentioned before, setting up a proper vinyl pressing operation requires a massive investment.
