I was wondering has anyone compared the regular cd version to the MFSL Gold CD version? I was wondering if there was a big difference in sound quality. I compared Nevermind and although the MFSL is better, I believe it only to be marginal and not worth the collector's prices on ebay. Any other thoughts?

Also, I understand the Europena release of this cd has an additional track not available on the US domestic release. Anyone heard and what do you think.

Thanks fellow forum members in advance for your opinions and insites.

This isn't exactly a MFSL to avoid, but I didn't get any sonic woody from it. The stock-CD from DGC is fine. The MFSL sounds a little weird, boosted bottom end, wacky. Some people LIKE it. I just don't think it's worth it unless you collect every little thing.

The Euro version of IU has a bonus track with the odd title 'Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip'...it's long, but IMO not particularly wonderful. The B-side Moist Vagina is a hoot however;)
I don't have the IU MFSL, but I do have the vinyl MFSL of Nevermind and I think it's much improved over the standard U.S. domestic release.
