Yet another incredibly useful tool on the Internet! :D
If anyone wants to keep up with his mortality, check the Abe Vigoda Status Page. (
http://www.abevigoda.com/) Just keep hitting Refresh and you'll stay up-to-date! It's looks like someone has written a pre-mortem song about his death as well.
OK, now back to work!
Brought to you by the letter M.

Abe is still alive as of 12:45 EDT. That's good information to have. I wish they would make a site for Generalissimo Francisco Franco, as I have not heard an update on his status since the first season of Saturday Night Live. I will make a few inquiries and get back to the forum with the results.

With all these celebrities dying today (Johnny Cash, John Ritter and Larry Hovis) I wanted to make sure good ole Abe was still kicking.
Yup! Still alive. :D

Seeing the progress of the pictures I'd say Abe is getting sicker by the moment.

It's hard to believe those two are basically made out of the same material.

Something must be wrong somewhere . When I tried to post the pic of Abe by linking it to the website I got the picture in John's post. So I ended up saving it to disc and posting it as an attachment. I also clicked quote on John's post and highlighted the link to copy it. When I clicked the back arrow Abe's picture appeared in John's post, but when I hit refresh the Brittany, I think that's her, reappeared.
Hmm???

Take a look at Abe in "The Godfather" and then again in "Barney Miller". You're seeing a precipitous decline there.
I can only imagine how much he's aged since "Barney Miller".
Kind of reminds me of the running gag in "Ed Wood" where they keep asking "Isn't he dead?" whenever Bela Lugosi's name is mentioned. Of course, Bauhaus went on to make a fortune once Bela was dead.

They've set up their website so that if you hot-link the image, it shows up as "the babe" (is that Britney?) instead of Abe. Guess they got sick of people stealing their bandwidth. Can't say I blame them. :)

This page has been around for quite awhile -- I had it bookmarked a few years ago but weeded it out after I sent the URL to every twisted person I know. Glad to know it's still around, it's absolutely priceless...

Saw Abe in a diner on 9th ave. He looked a bit frail, but seemed OK in general.

As for Generalissimo Fransisco Franco, doctors say his condition hasn't changed and he remains in dead but stable condition. More on this as it develops...
