Great site!

I still have my Sanyo MX920...a very large silver AM/FM Cassette boom-box from the early 80's.

This baby powered many a party in Queens. We used to put it on underneath the Whitestone Bridge and the music could be heard in the Bronx!:D

The guys who made the site have their start date wrong. I don't know what it is, but I recall a guy named Jay who used to bring his boombox to school every day. He stood at the bus stop every morning and played "Machine Gun" by the Commodores over and over back in the fall of 1974.

A great site. I was looking for it some time ago to grab a picture for a thread here and couldn't find it.
