The tune was adapted from an old Eric Satie melody.

That is from Steve's "Surf Legends" CD. First song. Later covered by The Pixies on Elektra. That's how I heard it first. Kind of discovering Steve H. the "back" way.

Funny. I would have never even played The Pixies if they hadn't covered our song. They sure did a great job at it, even if they did "sample" my opening thwack. BTW, that sound is my foot hitting the side of our Fender Twin amp, and the reverb chamber reacting. Neat sound. The Pixies thought so too..:D
