In the USA Today published today in the article it claims those in the over 40 crowd are spending more money on buying music than in the last 10 years.is this true for you,i know it is for
me now if only those classic rock bands like-Led Zeppelin and
the Rolling Stones would open the vaults i'm sure i would open my wallet-how about you?

I have definitely spent more money on music in the last ten years. Everything is a lot more expensive and my standards have risen.

Much less than in the past, although a bit more lately. :::shrugs:::

Virtually every extra dime I have goes towards music in some form or another. Guitars, CDs, albums, equipment. Can't get enough of it. If someone dropped a piano out of a building and it fell on me music notes would ooze out of my head instead of brains. I'm sick, need help....

I am not over forty, but I spend a lot more on music than I use to. It really helps when you have a job. My wife thinks I am in need of serious counseling. I feel fine. Just one more CD Honey..…;)

I'm not over forty either and I spend a lot more on music than I used to. My wife also thinks...no wait, I don't have a wife anymore..

You can probably guess why!:)

Buy the end of last year I think that I was accounting for 50% of all sales. New year new policy, I SAY NO MORE. Since the beginning of this year I only bought 2 CD's and 1 LP. As I'm approching 50 (still a couple of years to go) and with 2 kids yet to put through college I've decided to keep more of my money and give less to the record companies who relish selling me the same album 5 time (each one supposedly better).

Turning 40? That's a scary thought. At least I don't need to be over 40 to afford most of the music I want to buy. But it has a lot to do with ^DJI and ^IXIC. :( I miss the bull market and am waiting for the next one.
