Has any label yet released a SACD with more than 80 minutes of music on it.i thought i read somewhere they could press such a disc for long classical pieces.

I don't know any way of determining that. I've got the disc, but I don't think there's any way to tell by eye.

It's silver. I never heard of gold SACDs?

Paul,
I'm looking at one right now. Nancy Bryan's wonderful "Neon Angel" stereo hybrid by APO (Analogue Productions).
Comparing the data side to a DCC, it's not quite the deep burnished gold of the DCC, but it's not "see through" like DCCs are. If I hold it up to the light I cannot see through it, whereas I can easily see through the DCC and "read" the black writing on the label side (mirror image of course). It's a hybrid, so that's two layers stuck together - quite a bit heavier than a DCC Gold.
It is silver on the label side.

I hadn't looked at the data side very much.
But, yes, I can see that my hybrid discs are gold when the light hits them the right way. When the light hits them a little differently, they are pretty much like standard SACD silver.
The standard SACD silver looks silver no matter which way the light hits it.
Anyway, my Isaac Stern disc is silver.
