Neil Young's-On the Beach-why no cd

Neil Young's-On the Beach is one of my favorite releases by him.could somene explain why he has not allowed this title and a few others to not come out on the cd format.

This has been covered here before ... Basically Neil's explanation is that he does not like the CD format, and therefore is waiting to issue the "Missing 6" on DVD-Audio.

The rest of his albums have been allowed to come out on CD, but the record company may have had more of a say with those titles for some reason. Time Fades Away and On the Beach especially deserve reissue and reappraisal, but it probably won't ever happen on Redbook CD.
