After all the years of hearing the Stereo version of "Operator". I finally heard Steve's Mono version. All I can say is Great Job! Steve. Sounds totally uncompressed, should I say wide MONO?
One of my favorite Croce songs. Thanks for getting it out.

My one complaint about Croce's recordings is the amount of reverb on his voice. Steve did such a super job on the mastering that every detail is just right there...and after listening for awhile the amount of reverb starts to bug me.
Of course when I here a song on the radio with all of the EQ and compression, etc. I realize they needed all of that on the original to cut through the multiple generations away from the original tape the radio stations copy is and then their sound processing to make it LOUD on the air.

Have you heard the ver. on Gold In A Bottle? I have both and I can't say I have any complaints either way.
