What's the story on the Mobile Fidelity version of this disc? I'm thinking of picking it up and I thought I had possibly read a few dissenting opinions on the quality of this issue in the past forum.

Carl,

The problem with this album is the ole smiley faced eq., but I still like it better than the other 2 cd versions that I've heard so far, and if and when I do find a better version I'll be buying it.;)

I don't have this album in any format but I'd like to ... Anyone know if the Sundazed LP is any good? The price is sure right ...

The Sundazed is highly recommended. If and when Sundazed license goes dry, it's going to be a title that's going to be sadly missed, for people who didn't jump in.

Get it soon. Wonderful sound, authentic look to an original Volt Mono.

I also have the sundazed and my advice is run don't walk to pick it up. It is great and yes indeed it's mono too! I also highly recommend the Dylan mono's on sundazed and am waiting impatiently for Blonde on Blonde.

I have that cd and the original stereo lp and the flea market lp ripped it to shreds. I thought that MoFi cd was muddier than need be.

I also feel that way about the mono Searchers 2-on-1 cd on MoFi (though the other Searchers twofer disk was pretty sharp!).
